FAQ

We have a host family who provides a private room, bathroom, and living quarters for you during your stay at no cost to you. 

Yes! You will be compensated at a base rate of pay that will be discussed during the interview process.

This is an 8-week summer program that runs from Sunday, May 25 - Monday, July 28. You will have a week off from June 29-July 5.

You'll have the opportunity to participate in many experiences in Kids ministry, from regular Sunday programming to weekly camps, overnight camp, and VBS. You will be expected to work Sunday-Friday as well as occasional evenings for special events. Here's a brief overview of what the weeks will look like.

May 26-30: Intern Training/Orientation
June 2-6: Falls Creek Student Camp
June 9-13: Summer Day Camp
June 16-20 : Summer Day Camp
June 23-27: Summer Day Camp
June 30-July 4: Week Off
July 7-11: Cross Timbers Kids Camp
July 14-18: VBS Prep Week 
July 21-25: VBS

Summer Camp Staff

DESCRIPTION:
Summer Camp Staff will lead a group of kids each week during our KidOne Summer Camps. They will be responsible for leading and preparing various activities for the kids, supervising kids throughout the day, attending all field trips, helping with check in/check out each day, and other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have completed at least one year of high school (preference will be given to those in their Junior or Senior year)
  • Must be an active member FBC Wagoner or a like-minded church
  • Must be available for orientation/training days & through the duration of camp: May 28-29, June 9-13, June 16-20, June 23-27
