"Trust God" - Bible Reading Plan

7-Day Devotional: Trust the One Who Sees the Destination
Day 1 — Trust Beyond the Map
Scripture Focus: Proverbs 3:5–6
Devotional Thought:
We often want a clear map for life—every turn marked out ahead of time. Like relying on a GPS, we expect precise directions. But God doesn’t usually reveal the full route. Instead, He gives us just enough light for the next step. While human plans can fail, God’s guidance never does—even when we don’t fully understand it.
Reflection Question:
Where in my life am I asking God for the full map instead of trusting Him with the next step?
Day 2 — Learning to Trust Step by Step
Scripture Focus: Psalm 119:105
Devotional Thought:
God rarely shows us the destination all at once. Instead, He leads us in small, intentional steps. Each step becomes an opportunity to trust Him more deeply. Over time, those small steps build a life of faith and dependence on Him. Trust grows not in clarity, but in surrender.
Reflection Question:
What small step of obedience is God asking me to take right now?
Day 3 — When God Says “Yes”
Scripture: 1 Samuel 23:2–4
Devotional Thought:
When God says “yes,” it brings clarity, confidence, and joy. Like David, who received clear direction to act, these moments reassure us that God is leading. But even in the “yes,” we must remain dependent on Him and not on the outcome alone.
Reflection Question:
Am I seeking God’s direction first, or simply celebrating the moments when His answer aligns with my desires?
Day 4 — When God Says “No”
Scripture: 2 Samuel 7:4–6, 12–13
Devotional Thought:
A “no” from God can feel confusing or disappointing, especially when our intentions seem good—just like David wanting to build the temple. But God’s “no” is not rejection; it is redirection. His plan is always bigger, better, and perfectly timed.
Reflection Question:
How do I respond when God’s answer is different from what I hoped for?
Day 5 — Growth Through Disappointment
Scripture Focus: Romans 8:28
Devotional Thought:
Seasons of closed doors can test our faith. Disappointments can make us question God’s plan, just as unexpected life circumstances can shift our direction. Yet these moments often shape us the most. God uses them to deepen our trust and refine our purpose.
Reflection Question:
What recent disappointment might God be using to grow my faith?
Day 6 — Trusting in the Unknown
Scripture: Psalm 22:1–2
Devotional Thought:
The hardest season is often the unknown—when God seems silent and the path unclear. Anxiety and doubt can creep in. But trust in this season means believing in who God is, not just what He does. Even when we cannot see Him working, He is still present.
Reflection Question:
How can I choose to trust God today, even without clear answers?
Day 7 — The Shepherd Who Leads
Scripture: Psalm 23:1–6
Devotional Thought:
David reminds us that God is our Shepherd—guiding, protecting, and providing in every season. Whether we are in green pastures or walking through dark valleys, God is with us. His faithfulness in the past gives us confidence for the future. The call is simple but powerful: trust Him always.
Reflection Question:
Am I willing to trust God in every season—yes, no, and unknown—because He sees the destination?
Closing Encouragement
The heart of this devotional is simple and clear:
“Trust God to guide each step of your life—whether His answer is yes, no, or unknown—because He alone sees the destination.”
